In this valley, hidden among the Chianti hills, it has become a family tradition to celebrate all significant events in the monastery’s chapel.
The bride emerges from the woods, followed by a procession of bridesmaids and musicians; the groom joins her as she crosses a picturesque footbridge. Two colorful banners, specially painted for the occasion, are joined together as a symbol of their union, and together they enter the chapel for a symbolic ceremony.
